🥯 ate dueling bagels. there's a 70+ year rivalry between two montreal bagel shops: fairmount and st-viateur. conveniently located in the same neighborhood, it's easy to try both. montreal bagels are different – smaller and sweeter, since they're boiled in honey water. if you go, make sure to ask for whichever flavor is hot, there's a huge difference in taste!
⛰️ walked to the lookout point in mount royal park. this absolutely enormous park includes a gorgeous view at the top. you can see the whole city, the st. lawrence river around it, and the mountains on the other side of it all.
👶 hung out with my baby cousin ilan. at 14 months, he loves dancing to music (esp this song, which i also love lol), eating cottage cheese, and blowing kisses. i have to say, this is the first baby i've ever met who i genuinely liked spending time with. s/o to this baby for winning said accolade in my life.
