🧜♀️ tiny newsletter #81: copenhagen recap
hello hello!
i'm back from 9 days in cph w my cousins jordan and isaiah, here w a full review! even though it was often gray and rainy, cope was a total delight.
in copenhagen, we...
🚲 explored the city. we took every type of transit – metro, water taxi, bus (tickets app), bike (rentals app), on foot, and swam in the canals too. the metro was so considerate, it showed when trains were a 1/2 min away!
🦌 visited a forest nearby. we biked an hr to dyrehaven aka "deer park" where we saw herds of deer running, total movie moment. back in cope, ørstedsparken was an a+ dose of nature.
🖼️ enjoyed art. the louisiana museum was #1! it's modern art and a sculpture park by the sea. in the city, the glyptoteket, designmuseum, and thorvaldsens museum were all solid spots.
🪩 found events. it was fashion week, an opera festival, and a muna + boygenius concert! at the saks potts fashion show we saw tiny clear bags full of beach rocks and the 3rd hadid, haha.
🍴 ate way too well. i'm still dreaming about cardamom buns, flower soup, rhubarb soda, tuna tartare w nectarines, and caesar salad w garlic bread from our fav chef of all, isaiah.
🛝 admired the architecture. esp shipping container houses, creative playgrounds by monstrum, and the rundetaarn, a 17th c tower w a cobblestone ramp to climb inside.
here's a full write-up (all the details), a google map (in case it's helpful), and an instagram guide (only the highlights) for more info in diff ways. lmk what i missed for next time!!
💌 and that's the tiny letter! thank you for reading, xo aud
