tiny newsletter edition #26: holding onto hope
hi friends,
another heavy week where all i rly wanted to do was scream (which i did, and then donated again to reclaim michigan, a local abortion fund near my hometown). but let's start with a piece of good news – michigan voters got enough signatures to introduce a ballot initiative in the fall to codify roe v wade into the state constitution. that's something!
i also signed up to volunteer w a new program from now (the nat'l org of women) called "you've got a friend in nyc". i'm waiting to hear more, but it sounds like they're forming a network of ppl here to help those who'll be traveling to nyc for an abortion feel welcome/less alone. i'll keep you posted, and if there's anything else you know about, lmk!
beyond all of that, this week i...
🍯 ate this shockingly good honey greek yogurt. i'm not a huge yogurt gal, but this one is so good that i'm considering changing my tune. i'm not even mad that it only comes in this giant container! try if you'd like a bfast that feels like dessert.
🎧 listened to camera roll by kacey musgraves. the lyrics “chronological order and nothing but torture / scroll too far back that's what you get" have never been truer for me personally. 5 stars, a lovely ballad.
👋 said goodbye to my therapist. i started working with her in dec and just assumed i'd talk to her every week for the rest of my life. turns out when you come in for a specific reason and work through it, then it's time to go. s/o to laura (who will never read this lol) and therapists everywhere. i feel so grateful! and yes of c i cried saying goodbye!!

👟 an ode to hokas 👟 i was a lifelong asics stan before switching over to hoka gym shoes last year and idk if i'll ever go back. even though i have rly narrow feet, my orthotics take up plenty of room and the comfort of the hokas is unparalleled. they make my morning walks a dream!
💌 and that's the tiny letter! thank you for reading, xo aud
