tiny newsletter #59: i just wanna tell you about the jennifer mills news
hellooooo!
this week, friend of the newsletter arielle schoen and i went to an art exhibit at the brick aux gallery in williamsburg that was a room full of every edition (so far) of the jennifer mills news.
jennifer is a writer and producer at npr's wait wait don't tell me, and she's been publishing an incredibly charming newspaper about her life most weeks for the last 21 yrs, since she was 17!!
in each edition she elevates humdrum happenings to breaking news headlines – from seeing a snake to loving jam, no event is too small and that's the whole point.
while reading, i found myself laughing and nodding along, feeling connected to this stranger who once officially decided seltzer water wasn't for her. in an homage to her work, this week's tiny is the first (and only) edition of the audrey elkus news.
check out a full archive of jennifer's newspapers here and lmk your fav headline! mine is LOCAL WOMAN GETS DISHWASHER bcuz that would be an all-caps update for me too.
💌 and that's the tiny letter! thank you for reading, xo aud
