📚 read pachinko by min jin lee. this book follows four generations of a korean family living in 20th c japan, enduring and thriving against most odds. it's an epic story full of love, sorrow, and sacrifice, and i couldn't put it down!! ty to fotn ha jin park for this grand slam rec.
🎧 listened to homesick by noah kahan. his music went viral on tiktok a few months ago, esp his single stick season, but i'm a bit more partial to this one and its cheeky lyrics. "i would leave if only i could find a reason / i'm mean because i grew up in new england."
📺 watched the worst person in the world. this movie centers on julie, a 29 yr old in oslo trying to figure out what she wants out of her career and relationships. honestly, relatable!! it was beautifully shot, and at the end i wanted to know what would happen to her next.
