tiny newsletter #48: all things festive and bright (+ an eoy ask!)
hi friends,
happy fifth day of hanukkah and day before xmas eve! how are you spending the holidays? i've been hanging around nyc and on mon i'm going to paris with fotn eleonora saravalle and lilly tyson to ring in the new year!
while i'm there, tiny's taking a holiday break. newsletter #49 will be back in your inboxes on jan 6th, and in the meantime, i want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for spending this year w me.
this week, away from home, i leaned hard into festivities. i...
🕎 celebrated hanukkah. i lit my menorah over ft w my family and mailed twice-wrapped presents home. plus, i ate latkes, sufganiyot, and matzo ball soup at spots across nyc. regardless of your local options, you've gotta check out this latke hack!
🎄 admired xmas lights. fotn arielle schoen and i walked around the go-big-or-go-home houses in dyker heights, and fotn eleonora saravalle and i saw the stores on fifth ave and the enormous 30 rock tree. have you gone on a stroll or drive to see holiday lights yet?
📺 watched fun movies and shows. from most to least merry, i rec: lindsay lohan in falling for xmas, the nyt cooking team baking a home alone gingerbread house, this sweet stop motion short about bk's carroll gardens neighborhood the originals, and the phenomenal (and v jewish!) new drama about marriage and divorce fleishman is in trouble.
