📚 read tom lake. in ann patchett’s (who also wrote the incredible bel canto) latest novel, a mom / ex-actress tells the story of her life to her three grown daughters, and to us. it’s set on a fruit farm in northern michigan and the descriptions made me homesick! loooooooved.
🃏 played sequence. this game is a mix of cards and connect four. rules are: look at your cards and place a chip on the board in a spot that matches one of them. the goal is for you and your team to put 5 chips in a row. s/o to fotn arielle schoen for intro'ing me to it!
🧋drank bubble tea. i always get the same order (black milk tea w pearls, 100% sugar) bcuz it reminds me of when i was a research assistant at the mit media lab and used my transferred over wellesley meal plan credits on it every week that semester, lol.

🖊️ great pen rec 🖊️ i've been working on illustrations for a project i’m excited to show you soon (!) and this pen has such a lovely feel – any line i draw has some natural variation to it and the tip doesn’t feel too delicate.
