📚 read yellowface by r.f. huang. this novel follows two women who met in college and both dream of literary success. one gets it and the other steals it away in a story about ownership, tragedy, and cultural appropriation. cutting, 8/10.


🎧 listened to don’t forget me by maggie rogers. new maggie!! “my friend sally’s getting married / and to me that sounds so scary / i’m still tryin’ to clean up my side of the street.”


🩰 went to the ballet. s/o to nyc ballet's $30 tix for ppl under 30! fotn jordan cutler-tietjen and i got all dressed up and admired the dancers' combinations and the bonkers stage curtain.

🔑 an ode to neighbors 🔑 i locked myself out of my apt sun night and my friend w a spare was out of town. my neighbor insisted i crash on her couch – v grateful!! this is a psa to make sure multiple ppl have copies of your keys!
