hi friends, 

lots of people hate giving gifts - i am not one of them!! this yr has been tough for many, which makes me want to lean indulgent in my picks. here's a few ideas for anyone, including you: 

👩🏻‍🍳 for the chef, baker, or eater 👩🏻‍🍳 sweet teeth: tunnock's tea cakes or japanese citrus gummies. savory buds: 10/10 olive oil or extra long spaghetti. in-between: wild rose vinegar. for a host: veggie utensil rests, a bird lemon squeezer, or bake them this apple cake!

🛋️ for the homebody 🛋️ i love this heavy-weight sweatshirt and these pjs are the softest i own (even tho i'm not a hhh girlie). a sheepskin rug (real, faux) or a lamp they can bring from room to room! a gripping read (1, 2, 3), cool candle, or a cozy playlist made by you.

🌳 for the nature lover 🌳 a wooden bird call, a v hip rock mug, or a picnic blanket that folds into nothing. a tote bag for everyday schlepping w smokey bear playing cards, an annual national parks pass, or rocks (chocolate, licorice) tucked inside. for a forager, try this mushroom knife. 

🛀 for the self-care buff 🛀 a beautiful comb w their initials on it or paper incense in the shape of leaves. a gold face mask, orange garden lotion, and shower steamers are all such treats. oh, and this towel and creme combo genuinely cut the blow dry time for my hair in half. 

🖼️ for the art aficionado 🖼️ lovely pastels, pens, or colored pencils w fab paper. a book on an artist they might like (1, 2, 3) or a membership to their fav museum, so they can go anytime. a light box for tracing or negatives, or stationary i use every night in my dreams. 

❤️ for someone who wants nothing ❤️ help clean out their closet, take them to a bakery or dinner, or make a donation to a cause close to their heart. or! forget all of the above and write them a love letter – the v best gift of all. 

i am def giving ppl the spaghetti, lol. plus, i got my dad fancy licorice (yes he wanted the advent cal), my mom one (1) luncheon knife (i said indulgent, ok??) and fun hoops for me!
